I apologise for the late post on my GESS bandcamp'07.

Didn't really have the time to post. wahahas.


Let me write a short & sweet report on the 3 days 2 night camp. (:

First day (10th March, Saturday)

Nothing much happened today actually.. My band had a band exchange with ACS Barker (34A's school!), Christ Church & Manjusri . Honestly speaking, my school band was superb. My friend and me recorded the school band playing, but couldn't upload onto the computer. :P Well, the experience at the exchange was horrible. I sat on the floor for 4 straight hours. T.T After lunch (sectional lunch), practise, till night-time, when we are able to watch a movie, Spring Time. (:]


Second Day


It's physical training madness today. Made us run around the school compound 2 rounds. After that, BAND TRAINING AGAIN! This time round, it's quite interesting. The drum major, Sinhua, told us many interesting stories, AKA gossips about the teachers & some weird band members. :P Had sectional lunch once again. Practise again, with even more craps talked during practise. X=

We had games. >< Well basically, we have to run or walk around the school, station by station to do our 'games'. Some games are really sadistic, curse the game committee X: just kidding.

See the guy circled in red? He's my section leader, Chengyu. Behold for him! (cough) This game is all about guessing what your team member is trying to tell you through his/her actions. xD I did a bad job trying to do actions. :P



Do you really think you saw me? Well, you're right. BOOO. This really sick game is all about interacting with the oppsite gender. Err, kidding.. It's about passing the bottle, WITHOUT using your hand from one checkpoint to another to your teammates. As usual, we had to have body interaction. T.T What a lousy game. :P

hahas, after this whole 'game' event have ended, everyone went back to their dorm wet because of all the seniors. gaaa...
anyways, after that was our dinner, yummy food eh?


& then, it was the dooms day. T.T THE BAND TREASURE HUNT EVERYONE! EVACUATE! This is hell! They turned off the lights in the school, the whole place's DARK. except for the arena. Some of the bandmembers will be made and dressed up as 'ghosts' to scare people, since its dark. CRUEL. The worst thing is that.. I'm the only boy in the group, the other 7/8 members are girls, even my group's I/C is a girl, well, the other boy had stomachache. ><




Wanna see how dark the place was? See the background, not the light given by the cam. (: This was taken while the sec 1s are waiting for the game to start, excluding the blue shirt guy. i'm not in the pict, phew.

Our first clue was "Look for Jaslyn's artwork". She got 1 on the spiral staircase near the canteen (Leading to 2nd floor) and a Tiong Park painting at the staircase near AVA room (Also leading to 2nd floor) . & both leads to creepy places, espiacally when Raymond, the senior's station was near the staircase, & when I shine the torchlight at that area, it looks scary, with his mask on.. , it's superb. :P The second clue was the 2nd floor's girl toilet. hais.. We went up, passed the staff room's girl's toilet. Basically, we saw Chuting, the senior with another team. We THOUGHT it was it, but the team said it wasn't. After walking in and out, searching the toilet (including me), we moved on. >.<>

The interesting part is here now. Went into the girl's toilet outside my classroom, also no clue. Now heading towards the CCA block. it's ghostly. MANY creepy stories from the seniors there. Well, thankfully, the door's locked, but we found a I.D camp clue outside, thinking it was OURS, we followed the clue to go to the clue at level 3. Where the foetus stairs or something.. Its creepy, too. but well, we couldn't find the clue there. So we went to find Raymond (1 level below) & he had no idea. So we went to shout and ask the game committee about the I.D camp clue, and it turned out that I.D camp was International Dance and the clue was supposed to be removed the day before. -,-.

GRR. darn angry, so we eventually went to Shuting for the clue. The task was to decipher the secret message in a passage. It was band.. So our next clue was to find Dzaki, and tell him "my tinkerbell is ringing". We saw someone moving around the pillars near the hall, so we ran towards that direction.

At first, we couldn't find anyone there. Suspecting our GREAT TERRIFIC eyesight, we walked towards the pillar. Then 2 "things" crawled out from behind the pillars like from the scenes in "Ju-on". They were made up right? But all the seniors from my team, SCREAMED LIKE HELL, ran away like mad, leaving both juniors, me & the other sec1 girl all alone. -,- how responsible.. They grabbed me legs. hahas. well, fast fowarding everything, coming to the part where we are STILL finding Dzaki, we passed this area where we saw one member of another team cried. The sec1 girl.

Let me explain to you why she cried in pictorial form:



Get it? Well, she got scared by the sudden "attack" by the hidden "creatures".

I can't really remember the clues and their positions when we find them, so let me quote from my band major blog for the list of clues. (:

Now here r some other answers to the tasks and clues.

1: Fish... Ans: Eco pond
2: See where u'll be facing after reading all instructions on how many grids here and there. Ans: will lead to Organization Chart. Count: No. of teachers in the school. Ans: 65
3: Fire Hydrant Ans: There r 4 in the school. We hid it at the one behind the speaker's corner.
4: Run run run!! Ans: Look for our seniors, Weiling, Cynthia and Xue Yan to get wet. Muahaha!
5: Look for Jaslyn's artwork: Basically the art pupils have done 2 in sec 3. I've got 1 on the spiral staircase near the canteen (Leading to 2nd floor) and a Tiong Park painting at the staircase near AVA room (Also leading to 2nd floor) <--- Correct one 6: Look for Raymond in 2nd floor to separate the beans. Ho ho ho! Quite direct and short. =) 7: Go to Dexter and shoot the ice thru a piece of tissue! *Ptui* Just dun shoot ur team mates who're holding the tissue 8: Opposite patrol's bla bla container. Apparently there's onli one CCA that has a container, and which CCA calls themselves "patrol"? Scouts! Yea look for scouts' container. However, the clue's in that huge region. Ans: It's stuck under the window wall. :D 9: 2nd floor gal's toilet. Ans: Clue's with Shu Ting. x)

Our treasure hunt had "ghosts" who were actually Bernice, Dzaki, Keith and sometimes Sin Hua. Bernice i can say, she herself is already so scary, now she made herself look even more scary, the whole arena was filled with screams and shouts (And my sms ringtone, the out of tune nokia tone! So nice. Also my main ringtone of coz. Y? There'd been clue asking sessions. Kao!) One of the clue was with Dzaki. I know most groups had trouble looking for Dzaki. Firstly, he's a fast runner and secondly, they kept switching uniforms. Hahaha. Once one of them ran pass us, we couldn't even recognize.
