It's innocence, it's brilliance.. & the archaeology blogYes, I updated few songs on my imeem player. :P Enjoy! I'm in love with Avril Lavigne's Innocence. :( Well well, let me blog on what happened on today's archaeology trip
Fort Canning.
Basically, we reached the school and had a mini briefing on
the study of human (rubbish) AKA archaeology. Rather interesting actually, the Mr Chan let us see some artefacts or sources which he/his colleagues found. Thinking back, one of his colleagues was actually the guy who appeared on the 'Xing qin gong zuo shi' featuring as an archaeologist.
Back to topic, he made us see a white stuff. Guess what? That was a piece of the
backbone of a sheep. Yes, he asked the girls to touch it. Then all of them like shot him a quizzical look like "HELL! ARE YOU MAD? I.. TOUCH THAT?". Ahahaha. He also showed us a bottle of ink, PORCUPINE's the sharp thingy, shark's jaws, elephant's ivory and more..
So finally, after the
interesting talk about archaeology, they gave us a break. (Shuyi commented that digging very fun. hahas) We headed to the coffeeshop opposite the school and I bought cup noodles. Agreed, I find myself mad too. Somemore their action supoer slow, so in the end I only had 5 minutes to finish it up, and mission accomplished. :D
Interesting find:uh-hur. Shuyi find Mr AJ's perfume VERY VERY strong. Same sentiments. :P
So finally, we reached there. WEES~ Firstly, Mr Chan showed us his lab. If im not wrong, he said that it was the ONLY archaeology lab in Singapore. Oh yar, he also said that there are only 3 SINGAPOREAN archaeology in Singapore.
He took us to see the resevior which was said to be called the Forbidding place? long ago.
He showed us the entrance to the Fort Canning, showing us how thick it can be. Then suddenly, he say he want to bring us up. Truth is, he wants us to go this narrow and steep steps up to the entrance. The door to the 2nd level is hidden somemore. xD There, we had a group photo, which may appear on the school's magazine xD and 2 merit points proudly sponsered by Mr AJ. Saying it's good that we came along to learn more about archaelogy.
Well next, he brought us to many places. hahas. But he brought us to some sort of a graveyard, but Mr Chan says it's memorial plagues or something. The scary fact was that, the hills of Fort Canning were actually once
graves. Yes, some sort of a graveyard.
He also took us to the spice garden, where Magnus tasted something on sample. yuck! xD
We went to take a look at the excation site/how archaeologists work. Also visiting a mini shrine, which many of us don't know that Fort Canning has one there. :P
It was like SUPER DUPER fun so if you guys have a chance to see how archaelogists works, do volunteer to follow along. :P

So we met up with Juan at Tiong. Jinghui, Sinvyest and yunjie back out suddenly lah.
On purpose one. :( Well, we went Comics Connection at Tiong to buy Shuyi a present. GAAH. Waste so much time there. She didn't know what present to buy herself. LOLS. So me and Juaniter stare at both Jiajun and Shuyi bickering over how much Jiajun have to pay her present and what present should she buy. -.- So in the end, she bought a (what-do-you-call-that-Jap-singer?) keychain and a (whose's that?) actor's calendar. Next stop: Mini Toons? Nono. :P More than words to look around.
This is total madness but trust me: all of them are obsessed wtht he plush toys there while I stare at them, complaining how long they are taking.
Next, we went to the M1 shop. (We're crazy, it's true) We were like making a fuss over how our dream phone will look like. :P Then, Shuyi decided to call her mother.
Imagine this:Shuyi speaking loudly in the shop while me, Juan, and Jiajun were madly pointing and admiring our dream phone. uh-hur. It's unbelievable.
Well, NEXT (yep, more stops next), we went to Challenger to walk around. It was then, I called my mum, and Jiajun's had a phone call . Shuyi had the idea of 'la wo xia shui' or pulling me down the water and shouted loudly: " Aiyoh Zhihui, stop smoking lah. your 'huo' (goods) come already. " THANK GOODNESS. my mum didn't hear that. lols. Thus, Jiajun was busily rushing to end the conversation. -,-
So while me and Juan were busily admiring
again a Window Vista's swipe handprint function on laptops, Shuyi and Jiajun sneaked away... So we were frantically finding them, then Juan spotted their legs (hahas, funny way of spotting people. Cheeky ah!) at level 2. So we rushed down and found them in the music shop, looking through discs. We made a din there, xD. Next, (Yes next) we went walking to see some Japanese restaurent before we settled down to eat. :D YAY, FINALLY.!
We ate at mac. GOD, Shuyi is totally a laughing machine. :P But let me say some problem I met at the cashier. I bought 1 mcspicy set, 1 student meal fillet-o-fish, 1 small fries, totalling up to 11.95. I gave the cashier 12.50. Wait, I forget the amount. but well, they gave me 95 cents short and they were not MY MONEY. Luckily she found that she counted wrongly and returned us 5 cents more. :)
We saw my trombone senior, Nicholas, sitting opposite us. Shuyi thought he was my friend of the same age (when he's sec 4) and shouted madly, "Hi! " at him. (slaps forehead) Well, she told us that she was super mad at us because she shouted for us when we were sititng on another table, but we never hear her. Making her so embarass because everyone staring at her. We had a crazy time laughing lah. I think people around us must be thinking we're mad. I rememeber Shuyi told us her weird dream, about having Jay Chou in her house and she brought him to try
chey kuae how to spell? and telling him that "This is Ghim Moh's famous chey kuae" ahaha! She also told us the burping song, made me and Jiajun choke on our food. :P
Towards the end of the whole laughing ceremony, I burped (god). uh-hur
When we went home, we were making a fool of ourselves at the MRT but shouting, go home safely (following how Mr AJ said to us when he said goodbye to us)
It was overall a fun day, but haven't finish homework AHHHH!
Zhihui, signing off, wishing everyone goodlucks in their exams.
