Nowadays, I have to blogging ideas. hurhur. Anyone's curious to know whether I did blow peacefully during yesterday's band? Anyone?

The Band practice part II
The reportin time for band practise was actually 10am that day. I reached school at 8.45am (Yes, I know it sounds really superlicious-ly dumb) but because no-one can fetch me to school any later and if I take the bus to school, dragging my trombone, I know I'll die terribly. So anyways, after waiting for a while, I went up to the band room. (Amazingly, I climbed up the stairs very quickly :o ) It's like, some seniors were already there. Then Juaniter came with Esther and another senior, so we went into band room. Feels awkward 'cos we are the only sec1s in the room. :(

Well, like usual, sec1s joined the main band. We did the scales which was like I was having difficulty trying to catch up. mwahahaha. After lunch and everything, we had our own pratice with senior. hahas. Tried playing some pieces of 'music (Are they considered? LOL), my lips was smacking numb. My ulcers were aching too. Anyways, back to band room. The main band played different pieces of music like the Folklore (?), Beauty and the Beast and Harry Potter (Mr Foo asked us to join in for that piece -.-). I'm like in love with music. :P



Show review: Cold Case
LOL. Well, just want to introduce you guys to watch this show. It's really nice lah.

Cold Case is actually focusing on a group of detectives whose duty are to solve unsolved crimes from long ago, or re-visit (is it the correct word?) old crimes which have new evidence to say that the current 'criminal' is not guilty of anything.



The series I watched yesterday was a little touching. Well it was about a case from 20 years ago when a man was shot dead and a black men was sent to jail because there was evidence he was at the scene. Then 20 years later, a lady came to say that she saw it was actully a white men who was with the dead man. So they started questioning people who was involved 20 years ago (by the way, the 'deceased' and his friends who were involved in the crimes were card addicts').



There was like one part, when the detectives asked an old lady her point of view of the man who was shot dead. They showed a flashback, showing how he had actually saved his husband (he's a doctor btw) and when he came to her shop asking for money which he said was 'extra bill from the hospital'. He requested for 1000$, the lady gave it to him lah. but when he looked around, he saw that everything in her shop were sold cheaply. like one fish is a doller or so, shells 70cents and a thousand is very difficult to save. Then in the end he took 300$ (to gamble).

Then like, I learnt something from that part of the show: That whenever you feel like spending money on unnessary things, think again, how hard your parents have worked to earn that amt. of money. )

It's not a wise saying, I know, but this just came to my mind when I watched that part ><

The ending turned out that, the man asked his best friend to shoo himself dead. Because if he did that, his family (which he felt debted to because he had lost his wife and son as he was addicted to gambling) will get the money from Insurance comp. and he won't feel guilty towards them. He left a lucky pendant to his friend, which eventually was given to the wife of the man. It was rather sad at the last part, when they showed his friend going to jail, his wife crying after hearing what he had did, and his son see-ing his father and the old lady. Ya..

So do remember to catch Cold Case at 11pm on every Tuesday.
